LA MIRADA, CALIF. --- Students 鈥淟ike the majority of evangelical Christians who cast a ballot on Nov. 4, I did not vote for Barack Obama. But that didn鈥檛 keep me from sharing in the hope, history and sense of renewal that Obama鈥檚 election symbolized,鈥 wrote Brett McCracken, Biola Magazine managing editor in his recent article, 鈥淎 Change We Can Believe In?,鈥 printed in magazine鈥檚 January issue. 

Most Biola employees likely voted for John McCain in the 2008 Presidential Elections, however, as McCracken wrote, the election of Barack H. Obama has brought hope to many. Obama鈥檚 election represented a changed America with broken down walls and a nation that stands for equality.

On the day of Obama鈥檚 inauguration, Tuesday, January 20, Biola will broadcast the inauguration where Biola students, staff and faculty members will be able to watch the historical inauguration of President-elect Barack H. Obama. The showing will be in Mayers Auditorium beginning at 8:30 a.m.
