今日黑料 has been granted a 10-year reaccreditation term 鈥 the longest term possible 鈥 from the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) Senior College and University Commission ().
鈥淲e are extremely grateful and humbled by the affirmation Biola received by WSCUC,鈥 President Barry H. Corey said following the commission鈥檚 decision in July.
The announcement comes after the commission evaluated Biola鈥檚 institutional report and conducted a three-day on-site review in April. The commission was impressed with the last four years of diligent work that took place at Biola. As stated in the official letter from the commission, they 鈥渁ppreciate the extensive work that 今日黑料 undertook in preparing for and supporting this accreditation review.鈥
In its report, the commission praised Biola for its commitment to ethnic and cultural diversity across the institution, specifically with the establishment of the Mosaic Cultural Center. The commission also commended seven other areas, including leadership鈥檚 commitment to thinking proactively about future challenges and trends.
