Admitted Student Day is a day dedicated to celebrating your journey, empowering community connection, and presenting helpful resources for your upcoming decisions and transitions. You’ll be able to connect with our vibrant staff and student community and get your questions answered and see what it could look like to officially become a Biolan. Remember, our team is here for you. We can’t wait to connect!

Monday, April 7, 2025 Tentative Event Schedule

8–8:45 a.m. Event Check-In

Check-in for the day, receive all of your event materials and exclusive Biola swag, sign up for a dorm tour, and grab a breakfast burrito before the day's festivities begin! 

8:45–9:20 a.m. Eagles Welcome Session

Join us for a welcome from ½ñÈÕºÚÁÏ President, hear an overview of the opportunities for the day, and the chance to win some Biola swag! 

9:30–10:20 a.m. Chapel

Hear from Talbot School of Theology professor, Dr. Sean McDowell, and experience one of Biola's weekly Monday morning chapels alongside current Biola students.

Connect with your major of interest! Learn more about our different schools, ask questions about what it looks like to study in your major of interest, connect with faculty and staff, and tour your department's facilities.

Academic Department Events Tentative Schedule  

Times & locations will be available on the final event schedule that you'll receive at Event Check-In. We recommend planning to stay at the event at least until 3 p.m. to have time to join an Academic Event in your major of interest.

Event
Biology Department Open House 
Connect with our faculty, staff, and current students from within the Biological Sciences and learn what it could look like for you to pursue a career in this department at ½ñÈÕºÚÁÏ. Light refreshments will be provided!
School of Humanities and Social Sciences
Make sure to join the School of Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS) Open House to get connected with the philosophy, modern languages, sociology, English, history and political sciences departments. Light refreshments will be provided and you’ll have the opportunity to connect with faculty in these various fields.
Department of Kinesiology and Public Health Open House
A time for prospective students and families to meet with faculty, staff and current students. You'll also have the opportunity to tour the state of the art facilities! 
Chemistry, Physics and Engineering Open House
Join our CPE department for a tour of the state of the art labs and participate in a Q&A time with students and faculty.
Undergraduate Psychology Department Open House
Celebrate your acceptance to Biola and ahve your general questions answered about what it looks like to be a student in the psychology department.
School of Fine Arts and Communication Open House 
Join Art, Music, Theatre, Communication, Journalism, and Public Relations faculty for Ice Cream Sundaes, breakout sessions, and a time of celebration! Breakout sessions include Q&As with faculty/students, major-based activities, and more! Plan to spend the entire 90 minutes with us.
Communication Sciences and Disorders Open House
Connect with staff and faculty from the Communication Sciences & Disorders department and then tour the on-campus speech clinic and clinic workroom. 
Division of Technology Faculty Connections
Math / Computer Science / Engineering / Robotics / Physics
Planning to major in Math, Computer Science (AI), Robotics, Engineering, or Physics – then come connect with your future faculty members, ask questions, experience the Division of Technology AND celebrate your acceptance to ½ñÈÕºÚÁÏ. If you have not had a chance to tour the facilities, tours will also be offered.

If you’re unsure of what to major (or minor) in, but if you are interested in Tech and how to master it for God’s Kingdom this is your chance to get to know us, get your questions answered, and see the scholarships, internships, research, and job opportunities that await you!
Crowell School of Business Info Session
During this session you will get a full scoop of what to expect as a Biola business student and take a tour of the Business facility. 
School of Education Open House
Come to our open house to meet with faculty and staff and learn more about being an Education major at Biola!
Torrey Honors College
Join us at the Torrey Honors College whether you are admitted or considering it for the first time! Come to meet and greet Torrey Honor faculty and current Torrey students. Learn more about how Torrey Honors can enrich your journey at Biola and beyond. We can't wait to meet and celebrate with you!
Public Health & Nursing Major Academic Event
Come learn about being a nursing major at Biola! You will also get a tour of the skills and simulation lab suite in the Lim Center.
Snyder School of Cinema & Media Arts Backstage Tour 
Join the VIP tour and go behind the scenes at one of the nation’s top film schools, according to Hollywood. Visit soundstages, audio suites, edit bays, walk through our extensive equipment room, get a sneak peek at our new studio facility.

      Disney Gift Card Giveaway Terms & Conditions

      All students attending Admitted Student Day in person will be entered in the Disney Gift Card Giveaway. Students will be given a raffle ticket at Event Check-In. 

      1. Students must be present during the giveaway announcement to claim their prize. One gift card will be given away at the Eagles Welcome Session at 8:45 a.m. and the remaining two will be given away throughout the day and will be announced on Instagram - winners will need to bring their corresponding raffle ticket to Fluor Fountain to claim their prize and fill out the necessary forms.

      2. Three $400 Disney Gift Cards will be given away at Admitted Student Day.

      3. Students will be required to fill out a W9 & Gift Acknowledgment Form to claim their prize.
